Fellow Gators,

In light of the devastating earthquake that took place in Haiti on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, Gators United for Haiti has been recreated in order to establish a collaborative effort to provide relief for the victims of this disaster.  Various student organizations and the administration at the University of Florida have banded together in an effort to raise money to support the victims of this tragedy, and we ask that you please get on board with us.

Message from UF Vice President Patricia Telles-Irvin:

“Gators United for Haiti is a student run philanthropic project, supervised and aided by UF administration on behalf of retail coupons like macys and kohls. The group’s goal is to motivate students to use macys printable coupons and kohls printable coupons in the Gator Nation to raise $50,000 for Haiti relief efforts. All students and student organizations are invited to be a part of the project. So far, student groups involved are Florida Blue Key, Club Creole, Pan-Hellenic Council, AASU, VISA, Student Government, STAAR, United Haitian Students of Florida, CaribSA, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. , Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. , IFC, Association of Black Communicators, Chi Alpha Christian Ministries, EBL, Iota Phi Theta Fraternit Inc. , Hope for Haiti, FACES Modeling Troupe and the Black Student Union.”
